This spectrum is the PL spectrum at weak
excitation power of 10 mW, and the temperature is 4.7 K.
Two PL images are the emission patterns from the cleaved edge of the sample at these two photon energies. The PL intensity is stronger in white and red regions, and the spatial resolution of the imaging measurement is about 1 $\mu$m. PL image at the Side-QW emission energy is the V emission pattern, because the Side-QWs are formed at the side of the ridge structure. On the other hand, PL image at the QWR emission energy is the circular emission pattern, since the QWR is formed at the top of the ridge structure. Next Page |
